there is no "they"/we are "they" It seems to me however, that there are times we must get involved in the championing of human rights issues and that particular involvement is the selfless one, for we see that the greater good is being served. People either see that or they do not. It is a challenge to relax into battle-- for thoughout time, if there were not people who would fight for what is right, those who want to control, would(and DO) run things. It is a dilemma because these situations require that those who do NOT want control must d battle with those who do. The ony DIFFERENCE is AWARENESS. Love and all my best wishes, Ma Anand Anasya

Dear friends, My name is Eduard Diaconu and I am from Romania. I write you in the name of a small group of students living here. These days we haved the chance to sail on the Internet, and, among all those wonderfull things there, we have found a link to you. And, after visiting your web-site, we were truely amazed by your vision over the human spirit. We are some kind of a research and study group, trying to evolve our spirit, mind and body. Saddly, here in Romania it is almost impossible to rise from the common mass, especially when you use methods wich are generally considered as "unorthodox". They have such a limited vision, and anything which they can not understand, they classified it as some kind of "heresy" and never look at it again. You just can not imagine how refractory and rigid they are. But, you can imagine our struggle against the system, our fight for freedom. After a long effort, we have succeeded to open a public library. With some help from a local counselor, we have officialized our group as a Non Guvernamental Association. Then, to open this library was relatively easy. Though, we still have some minor problems in finding a proper location for the library. At the moment, it is located in a pretty old building, but we hope that we will find a more propper location in short time. Well, we have just started this "adventure", and those small problems are almost innevitable. What was really important was done. For now, our patrimony consist in just six hundred books and almost two hundred magazines, plus some video tapes and music on CD-s and audio tapes. The subjects of all those includes almost all kind of spiritual traditions, from Osho's teachings until Gourdjieff's way. And, even if almost half of books are in english, we have more than 15 visitors per day. We were very surprised by that. People are really interested, especially in eastern traditions. We have such a great desire to read and study your works, your projects, but, you see, we have also a big problem. Unfortunatelly, we are just students here, and I can assure you that you will never ever want to be a student here. Our life is so precarious. We are rich in spirit, but the wind is the one who fills our pockets. Well, this is our situation. And... we are asking for some help. Can we dare to hope that you may have some used or deteriorated books which you do not need anymore? And, if you do, can you mail us something? I just hope that we are not asking for too much. And, if we can do something for you from here, you can sure count on us. Light, Eduard & friends. P.S. Here is our mailing adress: e-mail: [email protected] Eduard Diaconu, P.O.BOX 3-70, Pitesti Arges,0300, Romania.

When people like James would realize their misunderstanding of OSHO and begin to listen to His real voice from beyond the hear-says on and the tabloid media concepts of Osho? Osho lived His life according to his vision - He never had two faces. So these words, hipocracy or fraud or hoax, are not applicable to OSHO.

I do not see any split between Osho World, Delhi and Osho Commune, Pune. From a meditative standpoint, one can see that they complement and supplement each other. Osho has said somewhere that every house should have a meditation temple or facility where at least for one hour a day each member can “just be” in meditation. Meditation is very scientific. It helps us look at ourselves and our world from beyond our conditioned minds. It is observed that regular meditation practises help increase positive waves in the mind and also prevent many deadly diseases from catching on in the physical level. A meditator falls in love with life, with its beauty, with its surroundings and with her neighbours. She can see interrelations, inter-being between nature and herself. Such a person cannot harm or destroy others. So I think that there is need for more places like Osho World and Osho Commune. In the wake of past week’s terrible human and property loss in the US, it is becoming urgent that meditation centres should spread all over the world - in all cities, towns and villages.

MEERUT, INDIA - Monday, September 03, 2001 at 04:10:10 (EDT)

A new monk arrives at the monastery. He is assigned to help the other monks in copying the old texts by hand. He notices, however, that they are copying copies, not the original books.
So, the new monk goes to the head monk to ask him about this. He points out that if there were an error in the first copy, that error would be continued in all of the other copies.
The head monk says 'We have been copying from the copies for centuries, but you make a good point, my son.'
So, he goes down into the cellar with one of the copies to check it against the original.
Hours later, nobody has seen him. So, one of the monks goes downstairs to look for him. He hears a sobbing coming from the back of the cellar, and finds the old monk leaning over one of the original books crying.
He asks the old monk what's wrong, and in a choked voice came the reply...'The word is 'celebrate.''

Osho's message is for unification, for yoga. Why you and Pune commune is split? Is this a ego trip as Osho always warned? Just because you were thrown out of Pune, did you have to open another foundation to get yourself a job?

Montreal, Canada - Monday, June 25, 2001 at 14:23:46 (EDT)

Dear Keerti,
Thanks so much for what I just read: your exchange with Jayen, quoted on your web site. I have been with Osho since 1979. As I write you, I am him. He penetrates me in every moment. I am myself, too, but the Master's presence is the Ocean. How can it be more rich?
I remember, he said "Look under any rock and you will find me," and to someone else: "If you think I am trouble for you now [I paraphrase], just wait till I'm dead. I'll tap you on the shoulder and 'you'll just freak out!'"
Dear Keerti, I have had little contact with sannyasins since Oregon finished. I tried to become a sannyasin 8 times at Rajneeshpuram! I would always have a bit of blue clothing on or couldn't convincingly promise to meditate an hour each day. On my third try, a Dutch sannyasin with beautiful strong high cheek bones interviewed me at the Meditation University. I told her I had been turned down twice already. She said, "Call back in two days." When I called (from the pay phone at the Zorba the Buddha Disco in Portland... so long ago...), a fellow named Bodhi said, "I was told to tell you, 'There are some people who don't need sannyas. You are in fact one of those who doesn't.'"
I knew - with a full-of-vertigo rush, that Osho meant I must stand in my own light - which I do to this day. What else (please visualize this as an old rebbe giving a shrug...) What else can I do? And why not? The gift of Your Own Light is all that a Master can give you... (I still kept trying for sannyas 5 more times. I would just get soft whenever I visited the Buddhafield..)
I know nothing of what's gone on in India. I don't even know who the people are in New York, but I can tell who has the authentic voice, who is laughing inside. I liked how you spoke and I remember all too well when the 'catholic church' took over when Osho went into silence in Oregon. I remember how it hurt and how it seemed so antithetical to anything Bhagwan had ever said.
So good luck to all of us who love the Master, who laugh with him and feel the Lion's Laugh. I've told my two strapping boys that there is a Lion's Laugh as well as the Lion's Roar.
Oh, and by the way.... one of them is named Osho. If those three guys in New York want to sue us, it's OK. What can I do?
Much Love, John Levin

Beloved ma yoga neelamI love youOur paths crossed a few times last time I was in pune.......
Beloved Meditators i am disciple of My dear friend and master of the bansuri. i am now studying Rag Nat bhairab with him in rotterdam. He is playing all night concert in stuttgart next week at the lederle theatre. I am playing my first concert tomorrow night at some kind of university supper club in Amsterdam.I will play rag nat bhairab in alap and little bit jor moving and then rag Boopali each for a 45 minute period officially and then half hour break in between.I get paid for this and meal and drinks so I am happy to spread the universe bliss.
I have effectively banned myself from osho commune because I have been continuosly challenging the dead hypocrites who claim to"run"the place. Now whether or not a fragrance of validity springs forth from my words whast is for sure is that my master no longer plays his flute there.i asked him why last week and he said to me that his reason is because "it has become a buisness centre"and all about getting the money.but we are both agreed that osho commune has no heart anymore.and I just want to let you all know that I am studying this bansuri ragas alot and hope to see you in delhi somer day in the winter.I will not go to pune ashram again, why waste time arguing with the lovers of cash. Not thast there is anything wrong in the grabbing of it because which being can be in one world without the other??But just the way in which various osho heart lovers people have been systemically hounded out and away from pune ashram and inner circle etc simply disgusts me and I cannot support this in anyway, whatsoever. Osho is alive and well so no matter however......
please email me and keep me posted of your delhi meditaion centre goings on andf camps etc big hugs and sweet bliss ragas Sw Amano Srijan

India land of knowledge! Hail to the rishis of yore! Osho reminds me of Jiddu Krishnamurthi! He is a man of Kundalini like Gopi Krishna says! A rebel of sorts and willing to argue.
