She’s the same lady whose eyes had charmed the US-president Bill Clinton himself.We’re talking about Mallika Sarabhai who touched down in the Capital for a scintillating performance at the Siri Fort auditorium, organised by the Osho World Foundation.
Mallika, joined in by her 18- member troupe, brought out the beautiful concept of Ardhanariswara. The programme dedicated to the Gujrat earthquaka victims, turned out to be an emotional one as Mallika talked about her special ties with the state. A special Yugoslavian dance performance led by Sun Cinca followed.
Actor Vinod Khanna who also joined in to participate in the evening’s progaramme was congratulated by PM Atal Behari Vajpayee for the good work this Osho disciple has taken up – providing housing to 400 people in th quake-hit area. Vajpayee also stressed on the need to not only give financial support to the quake victims but emotional one as well.
