The Osho Commune International in Pune has always been the indisputable outfit when it comes to Osho’s works and meditation techniques and continues to attract Indian as well as western tourists. However, its monopoly is being slowly overshadowed by a seemingly parallel outfit in Delhi, that is making news and waves at regular intervals? The Osho World Foundation at Ansal Plaza in Delhi, inaugurated a year back, first got notice thanks to the glamorous shopping plaza wherein Osho’s books and tapes are sold.

Thereafter, the foundation has been organising festivals in the form of cultural programmes (a la Osho festival in Pune) by famous performing artists of the country. Needless to say, it is the media savvy man, Swami Chaitanya Keerti, who used to be the most affable and popular figure at the Osho Commune in Pune, who has switched over to Delhi, and is bowling Delhi over with his media astuteness.?

The latest feather in the cap of the Osho World Foundation, is the launch of the monthly Hindi magazine, `Osho World’. Absolutely similar to the Hindi Osho Times, which Swami Keerti used to edit when he was the spokesperson for the Osho Commune in Pune. He is the editor for the `Osho World’ too, which promises to hold sway over the Indian sanyasin readers.?

Hey, whatever happened to the formidable position of the Osho Commune International in “Amche Pune”? Is it becoming like the wood, being gnawed by termites?
